Organization of the Rhode Island State Police

- The Patrol Bureau - Perhaps the most visible of the three bureaus, the Patrol Bureau is charged with actively patrolling for crime and responding to calls and include the Canine Unit, Collision Reconstruction Unit, Commercial Enforcement Unit, Honor Guard Unit, Hostage-Crisis Negotiation Team, Marine Unit/Dive Team, Motorcycle Unit, Night Executive Officers, Operations Officer, and Tactical Team all fall under the Patrol Bureau.
